The Irish Association of Brass and Concert Bands (IABCB) is the representative body for Brass & Concert Bands in the Republic of Ireland. We are a not-for-profit organisation, founded in order to:

• support the development of Brass and Concert Bands in the Republic of Ireland;
• achieve greater public awareness of the work of our member Bands in musical performance & education;
• develop best practice within Brass and Concert Bands & represent our members interests at a National level; and
• to promote the attainment of the highest standards of musical performance among our members;

To achieve these aims the Association is administered by an Executive Council comprised of members from our registered bands and elected annually at the A.G.M.

The Executive Council is supported in its work by a number of standing regional committees.
